Nascar  and  Formula one  use narrow tires,  to  "slow the cars down".

Brack, and  cars at  the salt- flats use  narrow tires,  to go faster...

Who does the thinking and planning for Formula one,  and Nascar?

I was a friend of Howard Cazaly in 68 when Howie was racing his mini. In the winter of 68 Howie bought Bill Bracks lotus 41and raced it for the next three years  in the Canadian championships. I was part of Howie's race crew for those years and  have many great memories of Bill Brack,Eppie, Horst,George, and many more great drivers of that time.

Just couldn't resist correcting Bill's memory on one point - trashing the Lotus 42 bi-wing at Lime Rock, September, 1969. It wasn't Doug Crosty that pulled you out (he wasn't on the scene yet), it was your mechanic who built the car, Barry Sullivan. I was there (Sullivan and I were roomates). It was Dick Simon that ran into you.

I'm wondering if anyone knows what happened to Bill Brack's Lotus 41 Formula B car, which David Batten wrote about.

To John Lindsay:

John - would you know what's happening with that Lotus 41C? Is it being rebuilt, or sitting in mothballs? What condition is it in? Would you know if your friend might be interested in selling it? Would there be any pictures available?

Thank you.

I hear that Mini's will be featured at Mosport this summer at the Vintage races.  Does anyone know if Bill Brack's mini (from around 1960's) is still around? Perhaps it might race at the Vintage races???Would love to know what happened to it...
