Let's hear about your 2006 season. What tracks did you visit and what series did you see? What was new, cool or interesting? What did you like and dislike (be polite)? It would be great to hear from fans and drivers from across Canada. What was happening in the Maritimes or Quebec? What about the Prairies or the west coast?

Bashing of drivers, series or tracks will not be tolerated. The comment will be deleted.

2006 season was a great year for mr. I have been away from all motor sports for about 10 years. I had the chance to drive a good friends F4 modified at Flamboro Speedway and I loved it!Since then I have bought my own car and rebuilt it so it can run up front. The fellow drivers in this club are great. Not knowing much about setup and building a front clip. They all helped to get me running better so I could compete.

I only had 4 races in my car but managed 2 Feature wins, 2 Heat wins for the season. We have just launched a new web page and are rebuilding this club for next season.

Can't wait untill net season

im a big race fan unfortunatly no one else i know is one except for my dad but my step mom wont let him do anything fun

so even though i got to go just about every weekend back when i was a little kid and usually cheer on doug shakell at sunset or peterborough or barrie, iam now lucky to go once a year if that.

it was a stretch but i convinced two friends to go to the may 2-4 saturday night events at barrie speedway, and the ONLY reason they went was because they had the cascar twin 50 lappers that night, it was a great time and the first time i had gotten to A track since august 2004.

i hope to get out more in 2007, since theres the slight possibility of having a car by then, the problem is getting people to go with me, if im desperate ill go by myself but its always good to have friends at the track.

it sucks because living in brampton the closest tracks to me are sunset and flamboro and no one i know is willing to drive that far because there not real race fans

at least i got out ONCE this year, all of you take my word, to all the people who get to go out every week or even twice, dont take that for granted, enjoy every minute of it, i know i do when i get to go once a year or once every 2 years :(

I enjoyed dirt track racing the last 4-5 years at South Buxton Raceway,  near Chatham, Ontario.  I have two boys in the sportstock division.  For a small town venue, I find it a great night of racing and excitement.  I'm amazed how other drivers would go out of their way to help others, ie. my guys who are relatively new at the game.  Would really like to see more equality in various tracks, so a car legal at one area, can race at others.  Thanx.
