This is what Golden Lake Speedway looked like in July 2008 when Ben Charbonneau (yes, the Vintage Modified driver) visited the track.
The track had been closed for less than 10 years but it was already quite grown over. The grandstands and the spectator fence were removed but some of the remaining track infrastructure was still there.
