Notes:
  • Built by John Wagner
  • Opened on July 14, 1965
  • Only held 5 nights of racing due to bad weather
  • Races organized by the Algoma Stock Car Club
  • Closed in July of 1967 due to competition from Heyden Speedway
  • Re-opened in 1971 - John Wagner was still the owner but it was leased to various people over the years including Frank Milano, Enzo Alfano and Louie Boiani
  • Josh and Linda Frenette became the promoters in 1983
  • Lou Boiani took over the lease in 1984
  • As of 2004 much of the track remains and it is used as a test drive area for Maitland Ford
