Was located just south of Highway 401 at exit 91, near Deseronto
Went bankrupt in 1965
Ernie Chapman took over in 1965 after the bankruptcy
Mohawk Dragway closed midway through the 1968 season
Re-opened at Quinte Dragway under the management of local businessman Roy Hayman
Closed part way through the 1970 season
Always was known for being the first strip in Ontario to open each season - usually late March or early April
John Cowling and Glen Cole became the promoters in 1981
Closed in 1982 when the first 6 events were affected by rain
Most of the physical assets were purchased by Shannonville Motorsports Park - grandstands, fencing, ticket booths and cement barriers
