Notes:
  • Located east of Cantley, QC (north of Gatineau) on the south side of Chemin Saint Elisabeth
  • Sometimes described as a 4/10 mile track
  • Opened in July 1964
  • Original owner was Guy Boyer
  • In September 1965 a car crashed into a crowd of spectators who were too close to the track, killing Eugene Mineault and injuring several others
  • Bought by Gerry Bisson, owner of Capital City Speedway, in 1970
  • Did not open in 1972 due to new laws related to crowd safery - Bisson said it would cost too much
