1/4 mile dirt oval (1954-1958)
1/4 mile paved oval (1959-1984)

Notes:
  • Built and operated by the Prince George Automobile Racing Association (PGARA)
  • Located at Ferry Avenue and Highway 16 West on the site of the old airport
  • First race was held on May 18, 1953
  • There were no grandstands for the first few years - fans sat in their cars to watch the races
  • There were two tracks on site
  • First track was used for three seasons and then was re-located to better ground just to the north in the 1956 season
  • The track was paved in 1959 and the opening race on the new surface was July 1, 1959
  • New grandstands were built for 1959
  • Grandstands were condemned duruing the 1971 season and had to be replaced quickly
  • Closed at the end of the 1984 season due to the city moving closer and the club moved to a new site
