  • Built by Jacques Guertin
  • NHRA Nationals were here for the first time in Canada in 1971
  • The control tower burned down in November, 1972 caused by shorts in the electrical wiring that led to the scoring tower
  • New control tower was built for 1973
  • Wooden grandstands were replaced by concrete ones in 1977
  • Aurelle Collette became promotor between the 1977 and 1978 seasons
  • Partway through the 1978 Collette left the track to focus on promoting Napierville - Allen and Lorne Cezar took over promotion
