- Originally built as a baseball stadium and known as Dayus Stadium
- First night of racing was Aug 1, 1951
- Organized by the Motor City Stock Car Racing Association
- Closed due to decling attendance
- An attempt was made to re-open the track in 1962 but it was rejected by the township council
- Track was used for go-kart rentals in 1971
- As of 2004 the track surface still existed located behind a strip mall at the corner of Howard and McDougall
