• Opening day was July 17, 1965
• Located at Scales Pond
• Freetown Stock Car Association was formed in the summer of 1966
• Grandstands and additional lighting were added in 1966
• More lights, additional grandstand, permanent washrooms and a canteen were added in 1967
• There were only three races in 1971 and it closed
• Re-opened in 1973 under the management of the Borden Kinsmen
