- Located on the west outskirts of Grande Prairie, in what is now College Park
- At the time it was called Richmond Park
- Ran by the Grand Prairie Stock Car Club
- The name Speedway 99 honoured Walter Murphy, one of the early promoters and owner of car 99
- Murphy was killed in a plane crash in 1961
- In 1963 the track banking was increased and metal grandstands were added
- Closed due to high insurance costs
